Out of the Dark
Out of the dark
I have been called.
Out of the shadows
I came.
Out of the night
Into the sun,
From the moon
Into the day.
Now here I stand,
My arms open wide
As I fall on the ground
Rocks press into my side.
I surrender, I surrender.
I admit that I have been wrong.
I surrender, I surrender.
I lift up my voice in song.
The one who made me
Now sets me free
From the chains of death
That bound me.
I entered in not knowing
Whence from I would come back.
Now I see with opened eyes
The great love that heals all wounds.
I give my life
To the one conquering death
That he might resurrect me.
The blindness of the grave is turned back
And eyes once dead now see.
